Now in its 51st year, the Swedish Days Ride remains one of the premier road bike tours held in northern Illinois and one of the very few Midwestern rides that offers a double metric century (124 miles) in addition to routes of 25 miles, 50 miles, 72 miles or 100 miles (century).

The ride's planned start and end is at Kaneland High School, 47W326 Keslinger Rd, Maple Park, Illinois or similar nearby location. From there all routes travel quiet and scenic paved roads of rural Kane, Kendall and DeKalb counties. Rest stops feature thirst-quenching beverages and a wide assortment of energizing food and restrooms.

Fox Valley Bicycle & Ski Club uses the net proceeds from this event to support the efforts of organizations promoting cycling and outdoor activities throughout Northern Illinois such as the League of American Bicyclists, Ride Illinois, Active Transportation Alliance, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Illinois Prairie Path and Project Mobility. Our event has no affiliation with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce's Swedish Days Festival.
