The Wabash Rock Gravel Brevet Series are self support routes that are primarily dirt, rock, and gravel roads, with paved sections interspersed on lands once belonging to the Kickapoo, Miami, Peoria, and Potawatomi tribes. The route takes riders past notable landmarks such as the Lusk Family Home, Turkey Run State Park, W.H. York Round Barn, and Fall Creek Gorge as well as the following covered bridges: Rob Roy, Cades Mill, Narrows, State Sanatorium, Mansfield, Conley's Ford, Bridgeton, Rosevilee, Henry Evans, Jackson, Marchall, and Mill Creek.

General notes

  • Riders may race the course if they choose but must follow Indiana traffic laws. The course is NOT a closed course! Riders may also choose to be a full value rider and take up the entire allotted time.
  • Riders are NOT allowed to have sag support or follow cars on the route. Personal support can ONLY be given at neutral checkpoints. Any support outside of a checkpoint stop will result in a DNF.
  • Helmets are required.
  • Hours between dusk to dawn riders are encouraged to wear reflective gear. Bicycles must also have a workable steady beam white headlight and steady beam red tail light between the hours of dusk to dawn.

Cicott Park is located at 8275 East Independence Road Otterbein, IN 47970. It's nestled between Lafayette, IN and Attica, IN along the western banks of the Wabash River. Riders may camp out the night before and after the ride if they wish. The park amenities include a shelter with picnic tables and electricity, an outhouse, and a few walking trails. No open fires are allowed. A ma and pa general store is located within walking distance of the park. There are no water spigots.

Cicott park, the location of a trading post existing as early as 1811. The park is named after Zachariah Cicott, a French -Indian trader, who built a village in the area starting in 1832. Warren Countyā s first newspaper was produced in Independence starting in 1844, called the Wabash Register.
