Since 1995, the Vandalia Freedom Tour has provided a fun, healthy, and family-oriented day of cycling for people of all ages. Sponsored by the Vandalia-Butler Optimist Club, our annual event helps generate needed revenue to support youth programs in the Vandalia-Butler community.
Every 4th of July, we host a 50K and 100K Bike Tour that takes riders through some of the most picturesque areas of the Northern Miami Valley. With an amazing lunch and swag, it's an amazing event 'rain or shine'! But let's be honest, we all prefer the sunshine for our event.

- We have amazing volunteers on call to provide support and gear to all of our cyclists—if needed.
- Shirt and Water Bottle
- Enjoy custom-designed t-shirts, deluxe water bottles, and cool wrist bands... if you're into that kind of thing!
- Supportive Rest Stops - We have evenly spaced out rest stops that are fully stocked and well supported, just when you need that extra boost!
- Catered Lunch - We always have a delicious lunch ready for you when you return from your ride. We hope you'll stick around for it!
