The Dick Allen Lansing to MACkinaw Bicycle Tour is Michigan's annual epic end-of-summer bicycle camping tour.
Registration Starts March 1 and Ends July 31. Absolutely no day of event applications! There is no waitlist.
Multiple routes wind northward through the countryside and quaint small towns, from East Lansing (4 and 5 day routes), Gladwin (3 East route), Grayling (2 East route), and Wolverine (2 Trail route), culminating with a fun finish in Mackinaw City. Each route varies in distance providing just the right challenge for all cyclists.
4 & 5 Day Routes
Our classic 4 & 5 day routes begin at the MSU pavilion in East Lansing and wind northward through rolling farmlands and up-north lake country following country roads whenever possible to provide the safest, most scenic routes between campsites. Each route travels through small Michigan communities offering opportunities for rest, refreshments, and exploration.
- 5 West - MSU start on Wednesday (338/354 miles)
- 5 East - MSU start on Wednesday (284/311 miles)
- 4 Day West - MSU start on Thursday (314 miles), Quad Century option (412)
2 & 3 Day Routes
DALMAC is excited to offer these options for riders whose schedule or preference better suits a weekend ride. The 2 and 3 day routes join in with other routes farther north.
