Join us for the Old Fashion Days Bike Tour on Labor Day, September 4, 2023. We look forward to seeing you this year as we celebrate the ongoing expansion of the B&O Trail both westward in Hendricks County and eastward into Marion County. The Old Fashion Days Bike Tour is a casual ride along scenic, rolling countryside near North Salem, IN. It is part of the Old Fashion Days Festival and is a fundraiser for the B&O Trail Association.

The event includes a hot lunch or breakfast (subject to availability), marked routes, sag van, refreshment stop, and scenic roads. The route is a figure 8 course, offering 13 and 33 mile routes. All riders start by going northwest out of North Salem. After returning to North Salem and passing the SAG stop, the longer route continues south of North Salem, passing beautiful McCloud Park. The route is subject to change due to road conditions. Final route will be posted by August 1st.

The ride includes a breakfast or lunch at one of the festival vendors. Stick around after the ride and enjoy the Old Fashion Days Festival. There will be a prize drawing for gifts donated by sponsor Gear Up Cyclery for pre-registered riders only.

Check-in runs from 7:30 AM until 9:00 AM at the United Methodist Church parking lot at 104 W Pearl St (the corner of Pearl and Nebraska). Riders can begin their rides at anytime after checking-in. A breakfast buffet at the church runs from 7:00 to 10:00 AM, so you can eat before or after your ride. Alternatively, you can use your voucher at certain other food vendors at the festival, including Perillo's Pizzeria (subject to availability).
