Jammin Roanoke will be a mass start bicycle ride. The ride begins on Main Street in downtown Roanoke, Indiana.
There will be three ride lengths to suit all abilities from avid cyclists to those just beginning their cycling adventure.
Lengths of 20, 40 and 60 miles are marked and include some rolling hills, scenic roads, and one climb to brag about with your friends.
A professional photographer will be stationed on the Maple Grove climb to capture each cyclist as the rider conquers the most difficult climb of the day. You will be able to view the Maple Grove photos at the finish line and order prints from the photographer on the spot.
The sag stop will be in Andrews, IN for both the 40 and 60 mile riders (the 60 mile route will pass the sag twice!). Sags will have water, Gatorade, bananas, energy bars and of course delicious bread and jam from Out of a Jam!
Upon completing the ride, participants will each receive a jar of jelly or jam made by the students at Out of a Jam! YUM! There also will be a podium and a finish line banner so that you may capture your victorious completion of the Jammin in Roanoke ride. Make sure your phone is charged so you don't miss this unique opportunity.
Several other fun things are in the works and we be posted as they become finalized.
This promises to be a great ride through some very scenic parts of Northeast Indiana. Come out and join us as we help Paula Kaufman change women's lives one jar of jam at a time! See you in Roanoke on June 17th!
