Welcome back to the Three Rivers Velo Sport Annual Festival Tour. We were the Summit City Cycling Challenge last year, but we are back to our old date during the 3 Rivers Festival and offering a new location and new exciting routes including a new Greenway Tour.
The Sunday road ride starts at the Aboite Township Hall at 1132 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne IN 46814 with a mass start at 8:00 AM. The road ride features (4) unique routes with the opportunity to ride a total length of 25, 50 , 75 or 100 miles on rolling countryside lanes through Allen, Huntington and Whitley counties with loops all ending and beginning at the township hall. We'll have a celebration when you return to the pavilion with cold treats and music - where you can swap stories (true or not so true) with your friends and fellow cyclists about the ride.
If you prefer the separation from traffic, new this year, we will be offering an off the road option riding a choice of Greenway trails starting and ending from the same great location as our road ride with all the same great SAG treats with the option of making multiple loops of either the 8 mile standard loop or 3 mile trial loop! A mass start will take place at 8:30am
Both the greenway and road rides will include maps and GPS routing, food, snacks, hydration and, most importantly - TONS of CYCLING FUN! Children under 13 ride free with a paid adult on road or greenway rides, children 14-18 may still ride the greenway ride for free if accompanied by a paid adult. Adults who accompany a child riding for free will need to complete a ride waiver for the child at the registration table the morning of the ride, and the child will receive a completion award.
Check in and day of registration will open at 7:00am the morning of the ride until 11:00am. On course support and the SAG location closes at 4:00pm. Please do not park or at any time block the fire station entrance. Overflow parking is available at Homestead High School.
