2023 Polar Bear Ride (with Mayor Joe Hogsett)

Indy's oldest, coldest City-hosted bike ride!

In the past decade, the annual Polar Bear Pedal community bike ride has been a welcomed opportunity to get out on a bike with Indy friends and city officials during the chillier, winter months. The ride is intended to encourage cycling, empower residents to adopt healthy habits, and tour new and upcoming multi-use DPW infrastructure projects including trails, greenways, and bike lanes.

Register for the 12th Annual Polar Bear Pedal sponsored by Coca-Cola and ride with hundreds of Indianapolis neighbors along Indianapolis' newest greenway — the B&O Trail.

Riders will gather outside the Bottleworks Hotel to hear from Mayor Joe Hogsett and other leaders who made this newest trail possible. Upon departure, the route will take riders from Bottleworks, the old Coca-Cola bottling plant, along the B&O Trail to Speedway, Indiana, where the plant relocated in 1969.

Riders may register by using this form ( form link at website below ) in advance OR arrive early on the day of the ride to register in person.
