Bike Rides in Indiana

Enjoy the fall foliage on this fun ride. The 15- and 25-miles routes are mostly flat, and the 40- and 62-mile (metric century) rides are mostly flat with a few hills. Volunteer ride leaders guide less-experienced riders on the shorter routes. Helmets required; bike condition check required for minors and new riders. Some groups hammer, some riders slow down and enjoy the scenery, but everyone has a great time!

Registration fee: $20 individual ($25 after 9/01/08), $40 families ($50 after 9/1/08). Tandem teams register at individual rate. Register via Active.com or registration form at tourdecrossroads.org.

T-shirt to those who register before Sept. 15 (two shirts with family registration; one shirt with tandem registration), well-marked routes, maps, fun rest stops with refreshments, roving SAG vehicles, and, of course, bagpipes. Post-ride lunch and entertainment provided.
