Bike Rides in Indiana

TRIRI® 2008 travels over hard-surfaced roads to take in the scenic and historic sites of south central Indiana, using back roads to travel to three state parks: O'Bannon Woods, Spring Mill, and Brown County. Terrain ranges from rolling to hilly.

Our 2008 tour offers a choice of tent camping for the week or inn or cabin lodging at two of the three state parks. Call the central reservation system and use the group code to reserve a room or cabin until May 17. Room rates are the normal, in-season rate, and are not included in your tour registration fee.

All breakfasts (6) and dinners (6) are included; menus are carefully planned for sound nutrition and variety, and include options for vegetarian and diabetic participants. Our meals, served at the TRIRI® campsite on picnic tables under large awnings (except breakfast at Spring Mill State Park, where we'll eat at Spring Mill Inn), offer lots of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as multiple entrees and sides. Furthermore, we do not run out of food!

Expect to ride an average 65 miles/day on the days we travel to a new state park. Three layover days offer short, medium or long loop rides. Or, take a day off the bike to explore the park instead. We anticipate 300-400 participants. (Routes and mileage are subject to change; more details coming soon.)
