This event, sponsored by the Bowling Green League of Bicyclists, is an organized bike ride with routes of 8, 16, 38, and 68 miles. The routes begin at Oakland Elementary School and use the scenic, low traffic back roads of Warren, Barren and Edmonson counties.

All routes will be well marked so they can be easily followed. In addition, maps and cue sheets will be provided to all riders. At SAG stops along the way, water, sports drinks and snacks will be available. In addition, food and refreshments will be available at the school after the ride. Please make sure that you and your bike are in good condition for the ride – but if there is a problem on the road, we provide road SAG support to help.

The 8 and 16 mile routes are perfect for new and less experienced riders and follow the gently rolling terrain of South Central Kentucky.

Both the 38 and 68 mile routes pass through Mammoth Cave National Park, with a SAG stop at historic Diamond Caverns. These routes are moderately hilly, so be prepared for a more challenging ride, with appropriate bragging rights to follow.
