The 13th annual "Chilly Challenge" New Year's Day bicycle tour is scheduled for January 1st, 2008. Once again, the ride will start from the Psi Ote Barn in Northside Park at 1:00pm. The ride is co-sponsored by the Ft.Wayne Parks & Recreation Dept. Northside Park is at the intersection of Parnell and State Street, with a Parnell St entrance.

All bicyclists are welcome. After the ride, we will serve chili!! There is no charge for the ride ( a small donation is appreciated ). Phil Snider is our route leader.

The 15 mile route wanders through Fort Wayne and Phil has a history of hitting as many city parks as possible before heading over for the famous Polar Bears take their annual "chilly" dip into the river.  There is an optional longer route for the return to the Psi Ote Barn.

The Challenge is not only for riding your bike on New Years Day there is also a contest for the best pot of chili. Not all have to participate but you are welcome to give it a go.
