Indiana Randonneurs will be hosting Wabash on the Rocks 300k (About 190 miles) (about 60-70% gravel) on Saturday, August 8th. You may choose your own start time between 5-6 am. (sunrise is 6:52 A.M) The ride will start and finish at Cicott Park in Independence, Indiana.

There are three different serving sizes of the Wabash on the Rocks: Riders may get a taste of the gravel roads with the 100k; they may enjoy a full day on the rocks with the 200k (70% gravel), or they can order up triple shot of the rocks with the 300k. Check out the routes here:

These rides will not have any mobile SAG support. Be prepared to make repairs to your bicycle and bring spares for common mechanical failures. Bring extras for the Dave who forgot to bring a spare tube. Dave move, Dave.

The start of the rides has very bad cell service, and several places along the route have limited service. Don't expect to download the route at the start of the ride.

CIBA and Indiana Randonnuers will provide lunch at the 63 mile checkpoint along Sugar Creek just past the covered bridge for the 200k and 300k riders as well as the 120 mile lunch stop for 300k riders.

Is this a Race? No. Can I race the route? Absolutely! Regardless if you are racing or not, you must follow traffic laws as this is NOT a closed course. You are responsible for you!

There will be a voluntary list of finishers and Non-Finishers. Bragging rights on finishing time is up to you.
