For my high school senior project I will be raising money for Concerns Of Police Survivors. Concerns Of Police Survivors work with survivors, Survivors include spouses, children, parents, siblings, significant others, and affected co-workers of officers killed in the line of duty.
It also offers training and assistance to law enforcement agencies nationwide on how to respond to the tragic loss of a member of the law enforcement profession. C.O.P.S. is governed by a National Board of law enforcement survivors.
My project will be a bicycle ride through Bartholomew County, Indiana. There will be 3 different courses to choose from. The first course will be a 10 mile loop, the second course will be a 20 mile loop, and the third course will be a 30 mile loop.
The ride begins at Mt. Healthy Elementary School on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 10 am, check in begins at 8am. You must print off and sign the waiver form and bring it on the day of the ride. The cost of the ride is $20.00 cash or check. You can preregister for the ride by droping the money off in an envelope addressed to the "Thin Blue Ride" ahead of time at Columbus Cycling and Fitness in Columbus Indiana. Please address checks to "Concerns Of Police Survivors" or you can wait and pay the day of the ride.
I hope you all can come out and be apart of the Thin Blue Ride!
